Pharmacy Technician - Nashville, TN

This role offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to a busy mail order renal specialty pharmacy, processing approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. The assignment is a 12-week contract with 40 hours per week, starting as soon as possible. There are two distinct shifts available: 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.


Responsibilities include working either in a customer service capacity or a dispensing role. Customer service technicians will verify shipping details, enter new patient information, and update patient profiles within the pharmacy software system, which operates on Wellsky without automation. Dispensing technicians will assist in filling and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.


Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification is required for consideration for permanent placement.
• Experience working in a pharmacy setting, preferably in mail order or specialty pharmacy environments.
• Proficient in pharmacy software systems; familiarity with Wellsky is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate medication dispensing and data entry.
• Excellent communication skills for effective customer service and teamwork.
