Job Summary Under the direction of the Radiologist, Director, Supervisors, and Lead Special Procedure Technologist, performs diagnostic medical imaging including Cardiac CT and invasive procedures by CT Scan examinations. Key Responsibilities Perform computed tomography (CT) examinations, ensuring image quality, patient safety, and coordination with the radiologist. Assess situations, choose appropriate actions, and respond to workload changes. Document exam details and venipuncture sites in RIS. Operate Hospital/Radiology information systems, entering data correctly and troubleshooting. Follow departmental policies, quality control procedures, and safety and infection control standards, including bio‑hazard waste handling and dress code. Apply universal precautions and maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment. Provide excellent patient service: explain procedures in clear terms, offer support, maintain privacy, and accommodate diverse needs. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, reviewing metrics and providing data for performance improvement. Deliver age‑appropriate care for infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Perform specialized care for high‑risk patients, including restraint assessment, pain management, and abuse assessment as required. Qualifications High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred. ARRT‑R Radiography credential; ARRT‑CT within 12 months of hire. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Experience: None required, but strong clinical skills essential. Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, push, pull up to 100+ pounds, and transfer patients.
