Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into an impactful role supporting students as a Special Education Teacher for the upcoming academic year. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to work alongside a dedicated team, shaping the educational experience of K-8 students in a dynamic, supportive environment. The position begins with an in-service day on July 20th, students return on July 30th, and the assignment continues through May 21, 2027.

With a growing caseload and the unique needs of a K-8 population, two Special Education Teachers are needed to divide age groups and manage service minutes effectively. Your expertise will ensure each student receives the individualized support necessary for success.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Arizona Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working within K-8 educational settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent organizational, communication, and behavior management skills
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to a variety of students' needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction and tailored interventions to students with diverse learning needs
• Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Partner closely with general education teachers to ensure accommodations and modifications are in place
• Track student progress and maintain accurate records
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student goals and development
• Participate in professional development and contribute to a positive school culture
