CT Scan Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12 Hour Shifts: Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM.

Job Description

The CT Scan Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures. This position requires adherence to radiation safety protocols and the ability to maintain accurate patient records using the Epic charting system.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans on a variety of anatomical regions with and without contrast.
• Administer contrast media according to protocols and ensure patient safety.
• Prepare and maintain equipment for use, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, supporting patient care across various departments.
• Document procedures accurately in the Epic charting system.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Scan Technologist preferred; 6 months Level 1 trauma experience required.
• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (RT) and Computed Tomography (CT).
• BLS certification required.
• Must hold a current South Carolina state license.
• Experience with Siemens equipment is strongly preferred.
• Radiation badge must be supplied by the agency (not provided by the facility).
