Territory Manager (outside sales) HVAC

Job Description

The Territory Manager (outside sales) plays a critical role in driving revenue growth through proactive territory coverage, client acquisition, and customer retention. As an individual contributor, this role requires weekly travel to engage with customers face-to-face, delivering compelling product demonstrations and leveraging market analysis to expand existing accounts and secure new customers. The Territory Manager employs a primarily product sales approach, building lasting relationships and managing accounts to meet sales goals.

You must have experience in the HVAC industry. This is a requirement

Responsibilities

Execute comprehensive territory coverage to maximize sales opportunities
Acquire new clients and expand existing customer accounts
Maintain customer retention through strong relationship building
Conduct sales forecasting to align with business objectives
Manage accounts and provide ongoing customer support
Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify growth areas
Deliver engaging product demonstrations to prospects and customers
Build and nurture long-term client relationships

Required Qualifications

Experience in HVAC industry sales
Proficient with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
Strong sales forecasting and pipeline management skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Effective time management and organizational skills
Proven problem-solving capabilities
Comprehensive product knowledge relevant to sales
