Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and mental health screenings to determine individual treatment needs, developing tailored treatment plans to guide the therapeutic process.

• Provide evidence-based individual and group counseling services, including crisis intervention, helping clients cope with anxiety, depression, trauma, and more.

• Facilitate therapeutic groups and workshops that cover essential topics such as stress management, coping skills, and emotional regulation.

• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including primary care physicians, social workers, and community organizations, to coordinate care and ensure a holistic approach to treatment.

• Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote mental health awareness and prevention strategies, contributing positively to the overall wellbeing of the Clovis community.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation and client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring the highest level of ethical standards are upheld.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on adults and adolescents facing various mental health challenges within a community health setting. Engaging with a culturally diverse clientele allows you to develop personalized therapeutic techniques, improving the quality of care for all patients. You’ll address a range of issues, from chronic stress and anxiety to more complex mental health disorders, providing essential support in their journeys to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A valid, active state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist.

• A Bachelor’s Degree is required; a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work is preferred.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health issues prevalent among diverse populations, especially within a community health framework.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and brief therapy models applied in diverse clinical settings.
