Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on clients experiencing mood disorders, providing care to individuals of various ages and backgrounds. You will work with clients who may be seeking help for the first time as well as those who have ongoing treatment needs, tailoring your approach based on their specific life situations, histories, and preferences. Your understanding of the nuances of mood disorders will be critical in delivering effective therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Additionally, you must hold a current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

Preferred Experience\n

While only two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, your expertise in mood disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatments like CBT and DBT will set you apart. A strong understanding of psychopharmacology will also be beneficial, allowing for effective collaboration with other healthcare providers.
