Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a difference in the lives of students across a vibrant school community by supporting classrooms as a paraprofessional. Opportunities are available for the upcoming ESY session (June 1st–25th) as well as for the new school year starting in August. Positions offer variety, with openings spanning K-12 in special education classrooms. Whether you prefer working one-on-one or providing general classroom support, there’s a spot for you.
What You’ll Bring:
- Valid and active Substitute Certificate listed on the DESE website (required)
- Experience working with children or students, preferably in an educational or behavioral support role
- Comfort with supporting students’ physical and behavioral needs, including toileting and changing
- Flexibility to float between elementary, middle, and high school settings as needed
- Positive attitude and a genuine passion for helping students succeed
Your Responsibilities:
- Assist in SPED classrooms across multiple grade levels, adapting to varying student needs
- Provide one-on-one or classroom-wide support depending on assignment
- Support students with a range of intellectual, physical, and behavioral needs
- Aid teachers and therapists—helping implement individualized plans and classroom activities
- Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students
What to Expect:
- Assignments available across 22 elementary, 6 middle, and 5 high schools
- Shifts vary: Middle (7 am–2:30 pm), High (7:30 am–3 pm), Elementary (8:30 am–4 pm or 9 am–4:30 pm)
- Reliable, ongoing need for passionate paraprofessionals and RBTs throughout the year
- A thorough prescreening call prior to being presented to schools, ensuring the best fit for you
