Job Summary The Accounting Clerk is responsible for a variety of accounting and administrative tasks, including posting transactions to the general ledger, managing vehicle inventory records, processing warranty and aftermarket paperwork, and accounts receivable/payable functions. Responsibilities:
- Reconciling and posting daily deposits to the general ledger.
- Posting payable invoices, reconciling statements and processing vendor payments.
- Stocking in new and dealer trade inventory.
- Processing outgoing dealer trades.
- Processing warranty and aftermarket cancellations.
- Maintaining and reconciling accounting schedules regularly.
- Assisting with month-end close and special projects.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
- Experience with Tekion (or similar dealership accounting software) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
