Oversee full-cycle AP/AR operations, tuition billing, vendor payment processing, and general ledger reconciliation.Direct GAAP compliance, manage state/accreditation reporting, and partner with external auditors to complete annual audited financial statements and IRS Form 990 filings.Directly supervise, mentor, and direct the daily activities of the Business Office team, including the Comptroller and HR Specialist.Engage and manage primary banking relationships, monitor daily cash flow, conduct monthly multi-account bank reconciliations, and optimize liquidity to support operations.Lead payroll processing and tax reporting. Administer comprehensive benefit plans (health, life, workers' comp), draft faculty/staff employment contracts, update handbooks, execute salary benchmarking, and direct annual 403(b) plan/Form 5500 audits.Calculate and distribute financial aid awards in coordination with the Financial Aid and Admissions Committees.
