Role Overview

• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to provide diagnostic images of the highest quality
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Accurately document procedures and preserve patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay educated on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Educational Background

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or an allied field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Required Certifications

• Maintaining certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is advantageous
