Executive Recruiting Consultant The Executive Recruiting Consultant role is an executive recruiter position with the majority of time invested in communication with prospective executive-level talent. The duties include placing phone calls to faculty, mid and senior level administrative leaders, and senior staff to attract visionary new talent to the University. This position frequently interacts with the senior leadership across the University of Georgia. Responsibilities Research and identify qualified candidates through peer and aspirational institutions, position‑specific associations, nominations, and subject matter experts. Continuous outreach to top prospective talent via email, phone calls, and other strategic communications. Cultivate a personal relationship of trust and support with candidates and maintain active communication throughout the life cycle of the search. Ensure application materials and supplementary documents are received. Provide executive consultation to candidates in preparation for the interview process. 70% of time: outbound calls to faculty, mid and senior level administrative leaders, and senior staff. 20% of time: meet and interact with senior level faculty and administration to align strategy and facilitate search committee meetings. 10% of time: escort candidates on campus and perform other duties supporting a successful search process. Key Competencies Communicate effectively at all levels of a large, complex organization in written and oral forms. Generate a high output of daily outbound calls. Deliver work on time and work effectively on an independent basis. Provide high level customer service in an academic environment with a positive attitude. Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, email, and management report creation. Strong attention to detail and a deep commitment to quality. Excellent organizational skills. Work with confidential and sensitive information. Personal accountability and desire for continuous improvement. Adaptability in challenging situations and autonomous teamwork. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred: one or more years of recruiting experience in a higher education setting. Employment Details Salary: $46,000+ commensurate with experience. Employment type: Full Time. Work schedule: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Location: Athens Area, University of Georgia.
