Speech Language Pathologist / SLP Full Time / Competitive Pay MLR is seeking an experienced and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our growing, supportive team. Speech Language Pathologist Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Nebraska. BLS certification within 30 days of employment One year of experience preferred Speech Language Pathologist Key Responsibilities: Provides screening, evaluation, and therapeutic interventions for patients referred by physicians or other appropriate sources. Administers and scores standardized tests to assess patients' communication skills. Prepares detailed written reports following assessments, including interpretation of results, patient education, and recommendations. Develops and implements individualized treatment plans as prescribed by the physician, with progress notes documented after each patient session. Maintains regular communication with physicians to update them on patient status and progress. Exhibits excellent interpersonal skills when working with patients of all ages and diverse socio-economic backgrounds. Possesses strong knowledge of the medical implications of various disorders, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, tracheostomy/ventilator dependence, language delays, articulation/motor disorders, and swallowing disorders.
