Salary:  $75,000 - $80,000 / year

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Manager (CSM) for Vending is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experience while overseeing account management and daily service operations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients, supports route drivers and branch operations, and ensures service excellence, customer retention, and account growth.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, and proactive, with strong relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving skills. This position plays a critical role in driving customer satisfaction, operational performance, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Conduct site visits to maintain client relationships and drive customer retention.
•    Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries, concerns, and service-related issues.
•    Assist branches with new account launches and grand openings.
•    Ensure compliance with local, regional, and national account standards.
•    Review corporate compliance reporting and implement corrective action plans as needed.
•    Partner with branch leadership to improve sales, reduce food waste, minimize out-of-stock conditions, and enhance operational performance.
•    Develop and execute account-level sales growth plans to increase revenue and profitability.
•    Identify opportunities for retail pricing optimization, merchandising improvements, and new product introductions.
•    Coordinate efforts to improve customer experience and increase repeat purchases.
•    Ensure compliance with merchandising, pricing, and presentation standards.
•    Analyze account performance through audits, reports, and quarterly evaluations.
•    Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Hospitality, Operations, Marketing, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
•    3+ years of customer service, account management, vending, food service, retail, or related experience.
•    Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
•    Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement improvement plans.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office and reporting systems.
•    Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly to customer locations.
