ProCare Therapy is partnering with a school district in Hitchcock, Texas to hire a Part-Time Physical Therapist (PT) for the 2026–2027 school year. Position Details
Very part-time opportunity (approximately 1 day per week)
School year dates: August 12, 2026 – May 27, 2027
Onsite position in Hitchcock, TX
Primary responsibilities include evaluations and IEP implementation
Flexible scheduling based on district needs
Supportive special education team and district administration

Key Responsibilities
Conduct physical therapy evaluations for students referred for services
Develop recommendations and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Provide consultation and implement PT services in accordance with IEP goals
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to support student progress
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
Participate in eligibility meetings, annual reviews, and other required team meetings

Qualifications
Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT)
Active Texas Physical Therapy license
Ability to provide onsite services in a school setting
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
School-based experience is a plus but not required
Therapists transitioning from outpatient clinics, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, or pediatric settings are encouraged to apply
