Receptionist - Front Desk Receptionist

$19.00 - $20.00 Per Hour DOE / Sunday - Monday 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM & 2:30 PM to 9:30 PM Siena Terraces, a Generations Healthcare, is looking for a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. If you are passionate about making a meaningful impact and enhancing the lives of others, Position Overview: The primary purpose of the Receptionist is to is to perform clerical support in an efficient manner in accordance with established procedures, and as directed by your supervisor. Essential Duties (including but are not limited to): Receive and follow reception schedule/instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established policies and procedures. Operate paging/telephone system as required. Answer telephones; determine nature of call and direct caller to appropriate individual or department. Receive requests from within the facility and locate personnel through paging system. Receive inquiries and release information in accordance with established policies and procedures. Maintain a current file/listing of residents by name and room number, emergency phone members of on-call personnel, department extensions, key personnel, etc. Maintain a current listing of critical residents and/or residents who may not receive phone calls due to their condition, referring those calls to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse. Qualifications: 18 years of age or older & high school diploma or GED equivalent. Must have at least one (1) years’ experience in a clerical position or successfully completed a secretarial science program from an accredited school/college. Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions. Must be able to effectively use a 10-key calculator and have working knowledge of computers, Input/output/retrieval data, etc. This position requires the successful completion of a background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
