Arabic Interpreter - In-person job at Back to Basics Learning Dynamics Wilmington, DE. Back to Basics Learning Dynamics is seeking interpreters to interpret for school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, mental health evaluations, etc. Interpreters must have daytime availability. Languageneeded: Arabic - Immediate need Location: Wilmington, Delaware, USA (19801) area IN-PERSON Benefits: Flexible schedule Make your own hours and choose the jobs you want Great way to supplement your income Potential for 5-15 hours a week Meaningful workserving local families Responsibilities: Travel to local client sites, within the Wilmington, Delaware area Provide Arabic-English interpreting for school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, medical appointments, and more Provide superior customer service Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices Qualifications/Experience: Fluency in both English and Arabic Daytime availability (between the hours of 9AM - 3PM) Availability to support our interpreting clients 5-15 hours a week Access to reliable transportation and ability to commute to client locations 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred, but not required Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.), but not required Bachelors degree preferred Candidates must be willing to get a background check including Federal, State, and Child Abuse Registry Must have reliable phone service for contact Must be comfortable with using a computer or smart phone for job input Back to Basics Learning Dynamics is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
