Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring a minimum of 1 year of ICU experience and an active CT or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Short-term acute care hospital with 426 staffed beds, designated as a Level II Trauma Center,
• Part of the Yale New Haven Health System,
• ICU unit assignment,
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:00),
• Every other weekend required,
• Floating required as needed,
• Charting via Epic (experience required),
• Free parking available on site,

Job Requirements

• Active CT state RN license or compact RN license required,
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required,
• Epic EMR experience required,
• 1 professional reference required,
• Candidates must not have any priors on their nursing license,
• Flu vaccination required; declinations are not accepted,
• COVID vaccination required; religious or medical exemptions accepted,

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates; local candidates are not accepted for this role,
• Former permanent staff of this facility must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler,
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved by the facility,
• Travelers may be required to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities
