Travel Respiratory Therapist

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist with 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency for a 13-week night shift contract at a Level II trauma acute care facility in Bridgeport, WV.

Job Details

• Acute care setting at a Level II trauma hospital,
• Respiratory Therapy unit (Unit 200),
• 12-hour night shifts with weekends as scheduled,
• Epic EMR is used in this position,

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience,
• Active Licensed Respiratory Therapist (LRT) credential; must be licensed and registered with the board for respiratory care - license required if applicable,
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential via NBRC required,
• BLS certification (AHA) required,
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required,
• Valid driver's license required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Responsible for basic cardiopulmonary care in general patient care areas, with advanced duties assigned as appropriate by the director or supervisor,
• Works under the supervision of the cardiopulmonary director or supervisor,
• Navy blue scrubs required,
• No artificial/false nails permitted,
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible,
• Travelers who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before applying; cumulative time at WVU facilities may not exceed one year without a 2-year break,
• Two references required for consideration: one supervisor reference and one peer or additional supervisor reference
