  • Base salary starts at $45,000 and increases based on proven logistics sales experience.
  • Performance-based commission structure that rewards results.
  • Most first-year Sales Representatives earn between $60,000–$70,000, with significant earning potential as your book of business grows.

What You'll Do

  • Build and manage your own book of business through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and inbound opportunities.
  • Develop long-term relationships with customers by understanding their business and providing transportation solutions—not just rates.
  • Manage customer shipments from start to finish while communicating proactively throughout the shipping process.
  • Become a trusted transportation resource by educating customers on freight markets, capacity, pricing, and industry trends.
  • Work closely with our operations team to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Keep organized CRM notes and maintain an active sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with management to improve customer experience, increase conversion rates, and drive company growth.
  • Handle challenges professionally and communicate solutions—even when the conversation isn't easy.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • At least one year of professional sales experience.
  • Experience in business development, relationship-based sales, or account management is preferred.
  • Freight brokerage, transportation, logistics, automotive, industrial, B2B, or other consultative sales experience is a plus—but not required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Comfortable prospecting new business every day.
  • Experience with freight software such as DAT is a plus.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills over the phone and through email.
  • Ability to manage your time and consistently work toward sales goals.
  • Dependable attendance and the ability to work independently.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and basic computer applications.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Schedule:
    • Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    • Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
