Java Services Developer

Salary: $102,000 - 142,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for extensive experience with Quarkus, Spring Boot, AKS administration and troubleshooting, GitHub Actions, Apigee, OAuth security, certificates, Cosmos DB, and Postgres DB.
• We value experience with shift-left and mutation testing approaches, including tools such as QTest, Karate, and SonarQube.
• You should have at least three years of experience on projects implementing solutions through the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• We require at least one year in a technical leadership role, with or without direct reports.
• A bachelors degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field is preferred, along with at least six years of experience in software development or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered in place of the degree.

• We translate business requirements and functional specifications into software solutions and physical program designs.
• We provide technical consultation and help shape the direction of integrated business and enterprise application solutions.
• We develop, configure, and modify basic to moderately complex application solutions across varied computing environments.
• We design and code component-based applications and ensure our work aligns with architectural standards, design patterns, and technical specifications.
• We support component integration testing and user acceptance testing through triage, defect fixing, unit testing, and test coverage guidance.
• We lead systems incident support and troubleshoot complex and non-complex issues.
• We create, review, validate, and update technical specifications and documentation.
• We collaborate with business analysts, architects, software consultants, IT teams, and vendors to deliver flexible, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
• We program and configure enhancements for new and packaged systems, including post-implementation support.
• We develop and execute unit tests to identify defects and confirm functional alignment.
• We mentor, coach, and train other technical team members.
• We support all phases of the software development lifecycle and assist with project estimation.
• We manage data modeling, database architecture, information handling, accessibility, retrievability, and security.
