IT Applications Engineer - API QA, Java, Karate

Salary: $102,000 - 142,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field, plus 4+ years of software quality assurance and testing experience
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with test automation using Java and Karate
• 4+ years of experience with test management tools such as qTest and QualityCenter
• 4+ years of experience with defect tracking systems such as JIRA and Rally
• 4+ years of experience using API testing tools such as Postman
• 4+ years of experience setting up virtual testing environments and defining requirements
• 4+ years of experience with JMeter performance testing
• Strong communication skills
• Experience working in both onsite and offshore team structures
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
• At least 3 years of experience on projects involving SDLC implementation
• At least 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role, with or without direct reports
• At least 3 years of experience developing and/or implementing mobile applications

• Develop Android and/or iOS applications using Agile methods to design and deliver new customer-facing features
• Partner with product management and UX teams to build engaging, easy-to-use client applications that enhance the user experience
• Follow standard mobile device security practices
• Contribute to the overall architecture of our mobile technologies
• Complete work assignments and support business-specific projects by applying subject-matter expertise
• Help develop work plans to meet business priorities and deadlines
• Ensure our team follows all procedures and policies
• Coordinate and assign resources to achieve priorities and deadlines
• Collaborate across functions to make effective business decisions
• Solve complex problems and escalate high-priority issues or risks when needed
