IT Applications Engineer - Greensboro

Salary: $102,000 - 142,000 per year Requirements:

• We need at least five years of experience working on projects that implement solutions using development life cycles such as SDLC.
• We need at least two years of experience in a technical leadership role, with or without direct reports.
• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in place of the degree.
• We need at least eight years of experience in software development or a related discipline.

• We translate business requirements and functional specifications into software designs, code modules, stable application systems, and deliverable solutions.
• We provide technical direction and expert consultation to project teams across the release cycle for business and enterprise software initiatives.
• We apply DevOps, Waterfall, and Agile practices to design and deliver resilient, secure, high-volume, cloud-based solutions.
• We partner with business analysts, architects, software consultants, IT teams, and vendors to shape flexible, scalable, and maintainable solution designs.
• We recommend and validate technical approaches that satisfy design and functional needs.
• We review technical specifications and documentation, define interfaces and supporting technical elements, and ensure alignment with architectural standards.
• We support implementation and post-implementation troubleshooting, including configuration, enhancements, triage, and incident response for complex issues.
• We lead component integration testing and user acceptance testing by coordinating fixes, unit testing, test coverage guidance, and documentation support.
• We develop and execute complex testing scenarios to detect application defects and verify functional compliance.
• We participate in all software development lifecycle phases in line with our methodology, policies, standards, and controls.
• We mentor, train, and guide other technical team members to strengthen software development capabilities.
• We build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and senior leadership to support project alignment and delivery.
