IT Applications Engineer, Azure Full-Stack Lead

Salary: $102,000 - 142,000 per year Requirements:

• We require at least 5 years of experience on projects involving solution implementation across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• We require at least 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role, with or without direct reports.
• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in place of the degree.
• We require at least 8 years of experience in software development or a closely related field.
• We value hands-on engineering depth alongside the ability to lead programs and advise stakeholders in a consulting capacity.
• We expect familiarity with DevOps practices as well as Waterfall and Agile delivery methods.
• We look for experience designing and delivering resilient, secure, cloud-based applications and enterprise solutions.

• We translate business requirements and functional specifications into physical program designs, code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions.
• We lead or oversee business-specific projects by planning work, coordinating resources, managing priorities, and driving delivery against deadlines.
• We identify risks and issues, escalate when needed, monitor progress, and adjust plans to keep initiatives on track.
• We collaborate with business analysts, architects, consultants, vendors, and internal teams to shape scalable and maintainable solution designs.
• We provide technical expertise and consultation throughout the release cycle for business and enterprise software solutions.
• We design, develop, configure, and modify integrated application solutions across a range of computing environments.
• We support implementation and post-implementation triage, including enhancements, configuration changes, and application support.
• We lead system incident response and troubleshooting for both complex and non-complex issues.
• We review and validate technical specifications, documentation, interfaces, methods, parameters, procedures, and functions.
• We support component integration testing and user acceptance testing by triaging defects, attending test meetings, applying fixes, and performing unit testing.
• We develop and validate testing scenarios to uncover application errors and confirm solutions meet functional requirements.
• We mentor, train, and guide other technical team members to strengthen software delivery capability.
• We build trusted relationships with stakeholders to secure alignment, buy-in, and support for project outcomes.

We are seeking a senior IT Applications Engineer (IC5) who combines deep hands-on engineering capability with the ability to lead programs and act as a trusted technical advisor to stakeholders. In this role, we architect and build enterprise-grade, cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure while owning delivery outcomes end to end. We operate in a consulting-style capacity, helping business and technical partners evaluate strategy, risks, timelines, and tradeoffs.
