Executive Director - Health And Human Services

A large non-profit organization in Hollywood, FL is searching for an Executive Executive Medical Director to oversee several healthcare and behavioral health programs. This role serves as the executive leader responsible for overseeing and integrating all health and human service functions for the organization, ensuring that programs are strategically aligned, well-managed, and effectively meeting the needs of the community.

Job Function:

• Leads multiple departments including clinical services, public health, elder care, and social services ensuring they operate cohesively and deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
• Drives long-term planning and day-to-day execution, including program development, operational oversight, and performance evaluation to ensure services are efficient, impactful, and aligned with organizational goals.

• Navigates and applies complex state and federal regulations, ensuring all programs remain compliant while adapting to evolving healthcare and social service standards.

• Oversees a large, multi-layered leadership team, fostering collaboration across departments and holding leaders accountable for outcomes, staff development, and service delivery.

• Manages budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to support sustainable operations and continued growth of services.

Job Requirements:

• 10+ years of senior leadership experience within healthcare or human services
• MD or DO degree, Internal Medicine or Family Practice required
• Board Certified and licensed to practice medicine in Florida
• Leadership experience working in a non-profit or community based healthcare organization
