Job Overview

Job Opportunity – General Medicine Provider – Alaska

Start Date: Immediate (PRN basis)
Location: Juneau, Sitka, or Delta Junction, Alaska
Compensation: $800 per half-day (4 hours or less) / $1,600 per full-day (5+ hours); one-time bonus of $650 upon completion of training and first exam
Schedule: PRN availability; half-day (4 hours) and/or full-day (8 hours) shifts available. Juneau/Sitka: half-day per week; Delta Junction: 2 days per week

• Interview-based exams with physical assessment components (range of motion, muscle strength testing)
• No prescribing or treatment responsibilities

• Work from your own office (must be within specified radius of service area)

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted Alaska medical license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or General Medicine background
• Proficiency in METs testing, and evaluating/diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions
• Must own a laptop (Mac/Apple products not compatible)
• AANP certification required
• Must complete DMA training and certification
• Must have compliant office space meeting accessibility and safety standards
• Must reside within 50-mile radius of service area (75 miles for Delta Junction)
• Self-Query NPDB (pulled within 30 days)
