Job Opportunity – General Medicine Provider – Florida

Start Date: Ongoing, PRN basis

Location: Lake City, Florida

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 2 days per week; flexible half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) shifts available

Highlights:

• Perform Compensation and Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans
• Interview-based exams with physical assessment components including range of motion and muscle strength testing
• No prescribing or treatment responsibilities
• Quick credentialing and onboarding process
• Must have own office space within 10-mile radius of service area
• One-time completion bonus for training and first exam

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted medical license in Florida
• Board Certification required
• Proficiency in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions
• Background in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or General Medicine
• Own laptop (non-Mac/Apple) for documentation
• Own compliant office space with ADA-accessible exam room, waiting area, and restroom
• Willingness to complete required DMA certification training
• NPDB Self-Query report (within 30 days)
• ECFMG certificate if medical school training completed outside the United States
