About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President to lead its Central Partnership Negotiation Team. This pivotal role is focused on driving high-stakes media partnership negotiations, managing relationships, and securing optimal deal structures with premier media partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing a team of negotiation professionals, providing mentorship, strategic guidance, and performance management. Key responsibilities include leading complex negotiations with Tier 1 media partners, developing and executing comprehensive negotiation strategies, and structuring innovative deal frameworks. The role also involves cross-functional collaboration, providing thought leadership on market trends, and ensuring contract compliance with the legal and finance teams. Candidates for this role should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in media buying, planning, or partnership negotiation, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles. A proven track record in negotiating with major media companies and deep expertise in digital video CTV, streaming, OEM partnerships, and digital audio landscapes are essential. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of programmatic and direct media buying metrics, current knowledge of streaming/CTV measurement and technology ecosystems, and familiarity with agency holding company structures. The role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to maximize client value, secure preferential pricing, and obtain premium inventory access. The candidate should also be adept at mentoring and developing team members, and be able to provide thought leadership on market trends and pricing dynamics.
