Step into an opportunity as a full-time Special Education Teacher supporting students in grades 3–5 in a resource role for the upcoming semester. This position is based onsite near Chicago, with responsibilities thoughtfully designed for impactful interventions and inclusive education.

Your primary focus will be working with approximately 10 students, where you’ll deliver both pullout and push-in support. The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and concludes on December 21, making it ideal for professionals seeking a rewarding, contract-based role that makes a real difference day-to-day.

Qualifications that will set you up for success include:

• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 Endorsement (required for the state and position).
• Experience or passion for working as a Special Education Teacher at the elementary level.
• Strong understanding of resource teaching, including managing and documenting both push-in and pullout minutes.
• Organizational skills to serve students effectively within one school setting and collaborate across grade and subject teams.
• Commitment to creating supportive, differentiated learning experiences for students with diverse abilities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing targeted instruction and interventions to students in grades 3–5 through both resource room and inclusion models.
• Collaborating with general education teachers and support staff to ensure IEP goals are met.
• Maintaining accurate records of student progress, service minutes, and compliance documentation.
• Communicating effectively with students, families, and school teams.
