This onsite, contract position offers the chance to work closely with a dedicated educational team, guiding students toward their academic and personal goals during the upcoming school year.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois professional educator license with LBS1 endorsement.
• Experience or strong interest in serving 7th grade students within a co-taught framework.
• Expertise in delivering differentiated instruction that addresses diverse learning needs, especially IEP goals in reading and math.
• Ability to build productive relationships with general education peers, fostering inclusion and student engagement across all settings.
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Co-teach ELA and Math classes, supporting 10 students with IEPs within a mainstream setting.
• Coordinate and implement instructional strategies that promote student success alongside general education staff.
• Monitor student progress, regularly updating IEP documentation and communicating developments with parents and team members.
• Provide coaching and guidance to encourage growth, independence, and confidence in students during academics, specials, lunch, and recess.
• Contribute to the positive school culture by developing creative, student-centered interventions tailored to individual needs.

Position Details and Perks:

• 33.75 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM.
• Contract runs from August 17th through the end of the school year.
