Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid state's Special Education Teacher credential or eligibility for certification
• Prior experience working with elementary-aged students in special education, preferably in a co-teaching or resource setting
• Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Strong communication skills for partnering with educators, support staff, and families
• Collaborative mindset with a flexible, solution-focused approach to instruction
• Commitment to creating an equitable and engaging classroom for diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Co-teach in a 5th-grade classroom, delivering differentiated instruction and targeted support
• Manage a small caseload of students, developing and monitoring progress toward IEP goals
• Utilize evidence-based practices and data-driven decision making in lesson planning and intervention
• Coordinate with general education staff to ensure meaningful inclusion and accommodations
• Maintain timely documentation and participate in IEP meetings and team conferences
