Pay: $19.00
Hours: 1st shift: 6:30am - 3:30pm with occasional overtime
Location : Gilberts, IL

We're looking for a detail-oriented Samples CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team! In this role, you'll operate a Zund CNC machine to produce high-quality prototype and sample parts while working closely with Production Engineers and Designers. If you have CNC experience, enjoy problem-solving, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and set up a Zund CNC machine to produce sample and prototype parts.
- Load and unload materials from CNC tables.
- Verify dimensions and perform first article inspections to ensure quality.
- Troubleshoot machine issues and make adjustments as needed.
- Replace cutting blades and perform routine preventive maintenance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and fabrication documents.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Collaborate with Production Engineers and Designers to resolve file or design issues.
- Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
Qualifications:
- Manufacturing or production experience required.
- CNC machine operation experience required; digital fabrication or prototyping experience is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Comfortable using computer systems (NetSuite experience is a plus).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods.
- Must be able to read and write English.
