About The Team The Global Director, Digital Value Management leads the team that enables value and outcome realization to be delivered at scale — building and evolving an AI-enabled digital-first motion that continues to transform how customers engage with their outcomes across the customer journey. While reporting to the Head of the Value Center of Excellence, this leader will own the digital tooling strategy and execution, data and benchmark strategy and execution, business technology partnership, and connection to the field GTM teams that rely on these digital experiences as a foundation and scale mechanism. This role serves as a central partner to Value Management leadership and cross-functional leaders across Solution Consulting, Customer Success, Sales, Revenue Operations, and Business Technology. The Global Director operates at the cutting edge of Workday's revenue model, translating strategic revenue priorities into live tooling experiences, measurable self‑service adoption, and revenue impact that scales across every revenue segment, channel, and stage of the customer journey, offering exposure to global revenue channels, segments, and teams. About The Role Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership Foster an inclusive, global team culture: lead with servant leadership, cultivating an environment that values diverse perspectives, demonstrates care for the members of your team, encourages open communication, and prioritizes team and individual growth. Make collaboration the core of the operating model: work closely with global Value Management directors and cross‑functional executives, partnering to bring digital solutions to real business challenges with a focus on measured impact. Build a shared digital vision across GTM: partner with Solution Consulting, Customer Success, and other GTM leadership on digital experiences across the customer journey. Operate as a strategic advisor: represent Digital Value Management in cross‑functional governance and executive forums and serve as a trusted voice on where digital investment should go next. Digital Value & Outcome Strategy Own and evolve the digital value outcomes roadmap: take ownership of the team's live self‑service business case, value‑calculation, and customer benchmark/outcomes tooling, and set the strategy for what's next - including scaling self‑service coverage across a growing share of deal volume. Make budget allocation decisions for the tooling strategy. Advance AI‑assisted value tooling: bring fluency in both enterprise revenue tooling and frontier AI models/agents to guide the team's ongoing work in AI‑assisted value asset generation. Partner with Business Technology teams: work closely with the enterprise IT/BT organization to build, integrate, and scale digital value tooling within a corporate technology environment. Use data to define value: reimagine how we leverage data as the core input to how value and outcomes are defined, benchmarked, and communicated to stakeholders. GTM Fluency & Operating Model Speak GTM motion fluently: apply working knowledge of core and emerging GTM motions — FDE, Partners, PLG, Workday-driven new product sales — across new logo and customer base to shape how digital value and outcome experiences flex by motion, segment, and deal stage. Understand the field operating model: collaborate with field leaders to develop a sharp point of view on how digital fits within the broader field GTM operating model, and where it should own, support, or step back from human‑delivered motions. About You Basic Qualifications 6+ years of field experience — either as a direct practitioner / manager or in a role partnering closely with field leaders — in Value Management, Solution Consulting, or Customer Success at a large enterprise software or platform technology company; experience in value and outcome engineering preferred. Experience leading and developing people leaders; experience within a global team is strongly preferred. Experience stepping into and scaling an existing, high‑visibility strategy — building credibility with an established team quickly. Experience partnering with business technology / enterprise IT teams to deliver tooling within a corporate environment. Preferred Qualifications Global Team Leadership: Track record of leading and growing teams that demonstrate inclusivity, high‑trust, and high‑performance across geographies. Digital & AI Fluency: practical understanding of enterprise functional revenue tooling and frontier AI models/agents, with informed judgment about where each fits, and doesn't fit, in the customer journey and GTM service offering. GTM Acumen: strong understanding of field GTM operating models and motions, and how to use data to define value and outcomes. Technology Decision Ownership: experience making technology buying and building decisions, with a proven track record of driving long‑term adoption and ownership success. Cross‑Functional Leadership: demonstrated ability to build shared vision and drive aligned execution with peer leaders. Executive Presence: ability to connect with senior stakeholders and advise on cross‑functional digital and field trade‑offs - well verse in GTM KPIs and executive‑level measures of success. Scaling Mindset: Demonstrated ability owning an active, high‑visibility roadmap and evolving it - balancing continuity for the existing plan with a clear point of view on where we are heading – creating space for the team to innovate and grow in this exciting landscape. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role‑specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
