We are seeking a Billing and Financial Services Coordinator to help ensure families receive clear, respectful, and timely financial communication throughout their care.

Position Summary

The Billing and Financial Services Coordinator serves as the primary support for client invoicing, statements, payment plans, and account follow-up , while also assisting the billing team as needed. This role helps protect both the clinic's revenue cycle and the family experience. This is a client-facing financial support and collections coordination role within a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

Client Invoicing & Statements

• Generate and send accurate client statements on a consistent schedule
• Ensure invoices reflect correct balances, payments, and insurance activity
• Answer family questions with clarity and professionalism

Collections & Account Follow-Up

• Conduct respectful, proactive outreach regarding outstanding balances
• Track follow-ups and maintain consistent communication
• Escalate accounts requiring leadership review

Payment Plans & Family Support

• Set up payment plans aligned with clinic policy
• Support families experiencing financial hardship with compassion and structure
• Maintain confidentiality in all financial conversations

Billing Team Support

• Provide flexible support to billing staff during high-volume cycles
• Assist with account resolution, documentation tracking, and special projects
• Collaborate closely with Insurance Operations and Patient Services

Qualifications

• Experience in billing support, client accounts, invoicing, collections, or customer financial services
• Strong communication skills and professionalism in sensitive conversations
• Highly organized, consistent, and detail-oriented
• Experience in healthcare, pediatrics, or insurance-based environments preferred
