Travel PICU Respiratory Therapist - $3,005 per week

Job Details Role: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Location: Indianapolis, Indiana Start Date: 07/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Requirements Credentialing: Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and possess current CPR certification. Experience: Minimum eighteen months of respiratory care experience preferred, ideally in a critical‑care setting. Duties & Responsibilities The primary responsibility is to evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders. Provide respiratory care per physician orders and established policies and procedures. Participate in the development and/or implementation of patient care plans. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accepted practice guidelines. Maintain and promote good customer relations; communicate with management, coworkers, facility staff, patients, families, and other caretakers professionally. Provide instruction to patients and caretakers on therapy methods and objectives. Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
