Schedule/Hours

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license (CO or compact state)
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a Telemetry nursing role preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform core independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with state Board of Nursing practice standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for diverse acute conditions
• Collect and assess ongoing patient health data to direct care
• Provide supportive and restorative therapy and treatment
• Educate patients and families through health teaching and counseling
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and execute delegated medical functions
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with hospital and regulatory documentation standards
• Float between departments as requested and participate in on-call rotation
