Project Accountant

PADCOM Design & Construction Management Services LLC is seeking a Project Accountant II to support the finance and accounting team of a major Southern California community college district capital bond program. Responsibilities Review and process Bond Program invoices and encumbrances per accounting procedures Identify and resolve discrepancies in invoice documentation Ensure invoice and encumbrance entries in PMIS (Proliance) are accurate with supporting documentation Resolve integration issues between Proliance and Deltek Costpoint Evaluate bond compliance on all payment requests Reconcile financial accounts and escrow bank statements Prepare journal entries and debit/credit memos Develop new reports supporting transparency into program expenditures Communicate with construction and professional services vendors on invoice and payment matters Minimum Qualifications 1+ year of experience in invoice processing or accounts payable Associate's degree or college certificate (additional experience may substitute year for year) Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and Word Ability to perform historical trend analysis and create and analyze financial reports Strong communication skills, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment Preferred Bachelor's degree in business or related field Construction or public agency accounting experience Proliance or Costpoint exposure Anticipated start: July 2026.
