Role - Applied AI Engineer

Location - NYC (Hybrid)

Salary - $280k - $350K DOE

What you will be doing:

• Design, build, and deploy end-to-end agentic AI workflows and multi-agent orchestration systems.
\n
• Develop autonomous AI agents capable of reasoning, tool calling, and solving complex tasks.
\n
• Integrate LLMs into scalable, production-grade applications.
\n
• Own the full AI lifecycle, from prototyping through to deployment, monitoring, and optimisation.
\n
• Implement evaluation frameworks, observability, and guardrails to ensure reliable AI systems.
\n
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop AI-native financial solutions.
\n
• Influence technical architecture and help shape the company's AI engineering strategy.
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Strong experience in AI Engineering, Applied AI, or Machine Learning Engineering.
\n
• Excellent Python skills and experience building production-grade AI applications.
\n
• Hands-on experience developing LLM-powered applications and agentic workflows.
\n
• Experience with multi-agent architectures, orchestration, and tool-calling systems.
\n
• Experience taking AI solutions from prototype through to production.
\n
• Understanding of API development, scalable systems, and AI evaluation.
\n
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
\n

It’s a Bonus If You Have:

\n
• Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, PydanticAI, CrewAI, or similar frameworks.
\n
• Knowledge of RAG, vector databases, and advanced retrieval techniques.
\n
• Experience with LLM observability, evaluation, and guardrails.
\n
• Cloud deployment experience with AWS or similar platforms.
\n
• Previous fintech or Seed–Series D startup experience.
\n
