Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a high-volume Labor and Delivery and Women's Emergency Department setting
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period
• Perform and interpret intermediate fetal monitoring in accordance with facility protocols
• Respond to obstetric and neonatal emergencies, applying Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Advanced Life Support skills as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, evidence-based perinatal outcomes

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas
• BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification
• Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery or Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school or college of nursing

• 3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in a high-volume delivery service
• S.T.A.B.L.E. Program certification
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification
