CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist Installation, Maintenance, and Repair Columbus , Nebraska Position Summary We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team and contribute to the production of precision parts and instruments. In this role, you will set up and operate a variety of machine tools, including CNC machines programmed with Mazatrol language, to fabricate, assemble, and disassemble components as needed. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings, performing routine machine maintenance, monitoring operations for accuracy, and inspecting finished products. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments Fabricate, assemble, and disassemble parts as needed Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings Use Mazatrol programming language to program CNC machines Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning Monitor machine operations to detect any issues or malfunctions Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve production processes Qualifications Experience as a Machinist or in a similar role Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting engineering drawings Experience with plastics injection molding and electrical discharge machining (EDM) Strong knowledge of machining techniques and tools Ability to perform basic math calculations and use measuring instruments such as bore gauges Familiarity with CAM programming is a plus Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities #J-18808-Ljbffr
