Work Arrangement: 3 days onsite in Troy, MI and 2 days remote from home.

• 5+ years of recruitment experience within an automotive supplier, OEM, manufacturing, or related environment.

About the Role

Are you an experienced recruiter with a background in the automotive or manufacturing industry ? Client is looking for a talented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join its team in Troy, Michigan.

In this role, you will partner closely with engineering, R&D, operations, manufacturing, and HR leaders to develop and execute targeted recruiting strategies for technical and specialized positions across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process , from job intake through sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
• Source qualified candidates through Workday, LinkedIn, social media, job boards, external databases, and professional networks .
• Create and post job opportunities across social media, job boards, and other recruiting platforms.
• Conduct candidate screening and coordinate interviews with hiring teams.
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Partner with hiring managers to ensure effective candidate evaluation and a smooth hiring experience.
• Develop and maintain professional and social networks to identify potential candidates.
• Represent Valeo at career fairs, university recruiting events, industry events, networking events, and community initiatives .
• Work closely with Talent Acquisition team members, hiring managers, and HR partners to support recruiting processes and standards.
• Track and support recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, offer acceptance, source effectiveness, and requisition activity .

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field .
• 5+ years of recruitment experience within an automotive supplier, OEM, manufacturing, or related environment.
• Experience recruiting for engineering, manufacturing, corporate, and technical positions .
• Workday experience is required.
• Strong sourcing, interviewing, candidate assessment, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and business leaders.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience tracking recruiting metrics and developing recruitment reports.
• Experience with career fairs and university recruiting.
• Experience supporting industry and networking events.
• Experience with employer branding and talent marketing initiatives.
• Automotive or manufacturing recruiting experience.
