Accounts Payable Associate

Our client, a well-regarded financial services firm in New York City, is seeking a skilled and proactive Accounts Payable Associate to join their team. This role is responsible for initiating supply requests with vendors, managing the RFI/RFQ/RFP processes, ensuring accurate tracking and delivery of purchase orders, and assisting with vendor negotiations to drive cost savings. The Associate will also support standardization across payment terms and supplier credit. Successful candidates should have relevant experience in accounts payable, procurement, or purchasing. Familiarity with market data provider procurement and FITS inventory management systems is preferred. This position follows a hybrid schedule. The annual base salary range is $75,000 to $95,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other factors. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer. Job Responsibilities Initiate procurement of supplies with key vendors in a timely manner, working with key internal and external stakeholders Manage the RFI/ RFQ/ RFP process for all procurement Ensure proper tracking, payment, and delivery of purchase orders and purchases Drive significant cost savings by assisting in vendor negotiations Drive standardization across payment terms and supplier credit Job Requirements 1+ years of experience in AP, procurement, purchasing or equivalent experience focused on procurement in the technology space Experience in procuring market data providers is strongly preferred Experience with FITS inventory management system is strongly preferred.
