Location: Tulsa, OK (74103)
Job Type: Full-Time | Contract Indefinite
Pay Range: $20.00-$20.50/hour, based on experience

Job Summary:

We are seeking an ONSITE Health Plan Claims Examiner/Tester supporting health plan insurance claims processing and system testing. This role will use the QNXT system to process, audit, and validate claims while testing system updates to ensure claims are adjudicated accurately according to established business rules.

Responsibilities:

• Process, audit, and validate health insurance claims using QNXT.
• Test system configuration updates using test claims to ensure accurate adjudication.
• Review and resolve pended claims using appropriate payment, adjustment, limitation, exclusion, and denial rules.
• Research complex claims issues and resolve or escalate discrepancies as needed.
• Enter claims data, calculate allowable amounts, and process Coordination of Benefits (COB).
• Identify and document system errors, claim discrepancies, and processing trends.
• Communicate issues and trends to Team Leads and appropriate departments.
• Maintain accuracy and productivity while following healthcare regulations, benefit structures, and claims processing guidelines.

Qualifications:

• 1-2+ years of health insurance claims processing or medical billing experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to research and resolve complex claims issues
• QNXT experience preferred
• Medical billing/coding certification preferred

Schedule (Very Flexible)

Training: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM CST for the first 2-3 weeks.

After Training: Flexible scheduling between 6:00 AM-6:00 PM Mon-Fri

Employees may have flexibility to select a schedule that works for them while maintaining a 40-hour workweek, including options such as:

• Four 10-hour shifts (Mon-Thur) for example
• Four 9-hour shifts + a half-day Friday
• 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
• 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Other schedules within the approved hours

Additional Requirements

• Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening
• High School Diploma/GED must be verified prior to starting
