Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high-quality production standards. This role works closely with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and optimize manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes and production methods.
• Analyze production workflows to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and cost reduction.
• Design and implement process improvements using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime.
• Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with quality, maintenance, production, and supply chain teams to ensure operational excellence.
• Support new product launches by developing manufacturing processes and production plans.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor production metrics and recommend improvements based on data analysis.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Assist with equipment selection, installation, validation, and process optimization.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to improve productivity and product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience preferred.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with CAD software and manufacturing process documentation is a plus.
• Knowledge of production equipment, tooling, and automation systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
• Knowledge of CNC machining, automation, robotics, or assembly processes is a plus.
