Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, supervisory discretion, and independent decision-making in patient care.
- Monitor patient status, document care and outcomes, and respond to changes in condition in the ICU.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and quality of care in a high-acuity environment.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Ability to work in an ICU setting and manage acute patient needs
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and travel for a temporary assignment
