Title
Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Schedule
- Shift: Nights 19:00-07:30
- Shift lengths: 36- or 48-hour options available
- Weekend requirement: At least 6 weekend shifts every 6-week period

Assignment Details
- Float pool covering multiple units
- Patient population: Adults and geriatrics; high-acuity/transplant units

Requirements
- Active California RN license required
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience required
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certification is required
- Preferred certifications: CCRN, CRRT experience
- Required skill experience: Pulmonary artery (PA) line, ventilator management, arterial line/Central line care, titration of vasoactive drips, dysrhythmia management, blood product administration, procedural support

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in various high-acuity settings using critical thinking and clinical judgement.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physicians' orders and established protocols.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Support the interdisciplinary team by collaborating and participating in care planning.
- Assist in the education of patients and their families regarding treatment plans and healthcare practices.

Compliance / Notes
- Two recent supervisor references required at submission
- Modules/compliance training required pre-start or during orientation
