Position Overview

PACT Construction Services is seeking a driven, relationship-oriented Business Development Manager to expand our presence in the multi-family and commercial property markets. This individual will be responsible for securing new accounts, developing strategic partnerships, and generating profitable revenue growth.

The ideal candidate is an established professional with industry knowledge, strong decision-maker relationships, and a proven ability to turn opportunities into business. They are self-motivated, commercially minded, and comfortable developing and executing their own business plan without day-to-day supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth: Develop and execute a business plan to acquire new accounts, meet revenue targets, and generate profitable, repeat business.
• Build strategic relationships: Establish and maintain connections with property owners, asset managers, regional property managers, facilities directors, commercial real estate professionals, and other key decision-makers.
• Generate new opportunities: Proactively prospect, network, pursue referrals, attend industry events, and develop partnerships that position PACT for future projects and emergency service needs.
• Represent PACT professionally: Build trust through persistence, responsiveness, sound judgment, and ethical business practices.
• Manage the sales pipeline: Track prospects, maintain accurate CRM records, forecast opportunities, and provide visibility into account development and anticipated revenue.
• Collaborate internally: Work with sales and operations teams to qualify opportunities, communicate client expectations, and transition awarded work effectively.
• Monitor the market: Identify emerging opportunities, understand client needs, and strengthen PACT's competitive position within the Kansas City market.

Qualifications

Required:

• Strong communication, persuasion, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to independently develop and execute a business plan and prioritize opportunities.
• Professional judgment, integrity, accountability, and sound decision-making.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and time-sensitive opportunities.
• Ability to manage a sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and maintain consistent follow-through.

Preferred:

• Established relationships within multi-family property management, commercial real estate, or commercial property ownership.
• Experience with restoration, emergency services, and reconstruction in commercial contracting.
• A thorough understanding of developing long-term client relationships, preferred vendor partnerships, or recurring commercial accounts.

Measuring Success

Performance will be evaluated based on revenue achievement, profitable growth, new accounts secured, qualified pipeline development, repeat business, and the strength of client relationships. Consistent follow-through, effective internal collaboration, and alignment with PACT's values are also essential.
