Operations Supervisor

Location: San Marcos, TX. Role: Production Supervisor – 3rd Shift (Onsite). Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship. No immigration sponsorship is offered. What You Will Do Lead and supervise 3rd Shift production operations to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved. Provide daily leadership, coaching, and development for hourly employees and team leads. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagement. Monitor production performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to meet operational goals. Partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Materials, and other cross‑functional teams to resolve production challenges. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects to improve productivity and efficiency. Manage staffing, scheduling, performance management, and employee development for the overnight shift. Make sound decisions in a fast‑paced production environment. Work 3rd Shift and support operational needs – show flexibility to other shifts as well. Travel up to 20%. Qualifications – Must Have Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience. Previous experience supervising production teams in a manufacturing environment. Experience driving safety, quality, and productivity initiatives. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems. Qualifications – Prefer Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Experience in aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing environments. Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems such as SAP. Experience leading large production teams across multiple departments. Demonstrated success developing employees and building high‑performing teams. Strong analytical and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
