Compensation

• Starting wages at $18.00–$21.75 per hour
• Wage calculation based on experience, shift, and a $3/hr weekend warrior program.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Licenses/certification: Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment.
• Experience: Six months experience in a long‑term care environment preferred.

Job Functions

• Answer signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assist residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care.
• Obtain food trays and assist residents with feeding.
• Assist residents with range of motion exercises and movement to wheelchair or activity areas.
• Assist residents with turning and positioning in bed.
• Assist residents with ambulation for short distances within the facility.
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output as directed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, their family members, and facility staff.
