Human Resources Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist will support the day-to-day execution of human resources initiatives while partnering with leadership and employees across the organization. This individual will play a key role in talent acquisition, employee engagement, payroll administration, compliance, onboarding, benefits coordination, and HR program execution. Key Responsibilities Manage daily HR operations and employee relations activities across the organization. Coordinate recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, candidate evaluation, and onboarding. Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruiting strategies. Administer payroll processes and maintain accurate employee records. Support benefits administration, leave management, and employee lifecycle activities. Facilitate new hire orientation programs and employee engagement initiatives. Assist with performance management, employee development, and retention efforts. Conduct employment verifications, background screenings, and onboarding compliance processes. Guide managers and employees regarding company policies, procedures, and workplace best practices. Support investigations, corrective action processes, and employee relations matters while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations. Coordinate training programs and maintain records related to certifications, compliance training, and workforce development initiatives. Analyze HR metrics and provide recommendations that support organizational goals. Assist with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the HR function. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 2+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience. Strong understanding of employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and HR administration. Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Payroll processing experience. Experience utilizing Paylocity or a comparable HRIS/payroll platform. Manufacturing industry experience. SHRM-CP certification or similar HR certification. Compensation Range $75,000 - $85,000 Benefits Offered 2 weeks of vacation, paid sick leave where applicable by state law, Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance Vision Insurance, 401K, and Life Insurance.
